Dharmesh Naik is a graduate of the University of Allahabad in India where he obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. He joined the Group in 2000 after spending almost 3 years with Siemens. Dharmesh is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA), International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Institute of Corporate Governance in Mauritius. He is responsible for the Indian Ocean region, Africa, Middle East and India. He is also responsible for the Group's IT implementations as well as Group Marketing.

Companies holding a Category 1 Global Business Licence are tax
resident, subject to 15% income but with an automatic tax credit,
making the effective rate 3%. If correctly structured and managed,
GBCI Companies may access Mauritius'
tax treaty network. Neither capital gains nor withholding
taxes are levied. Additionally, Mauritius GBCI companies offer

The flexibility and confidentiality laws that regulate the Mauritius
GBCII Company means that it is ideally suited for holding assets

there is no withholding tax on dividends in Mauritius.
